When Lauren Tate came to me about designing the book cover of her first book I couldn’t have been
more excited. I love designing books, connecting with the author, probing the genre for insight, the
connectivity between the author and myself, enthralled with creating the design has always been one of
my passions.
As an advocate for the written word, books still hold the imaginative mystery and allows us to escape the
mundanity that sometimes plagues our thoughts and emotions. These book designs were aimed at
giving insight into the author’s thoughts, persona and invite the reader to explore and connect with ones
inner consciousness.
